The “I Like Blisters” achievement requires players to dig 1,000 holes in Sons of the Forest. This achievement is similar to the “Badger” which requires players to dig 100 holes. Players will need to obtain the shovel to be able to dig holes anywhere on the island.
Getting the Shovel
Players can only start digging holes once they obtain the shovel from a cave. Below is the location of the shovel cave:
Players will first need to obtain the Rebreather and the Rope Gun to be able to navigate the Shovel Cave. It is best to prepare meds, weapons, and armor since the cave is long and full of enemies.
The shovel will be located at the end of the cave, just before a cliff overlooking a giant bunker structure.
Digging 1,000 Holes
Once players have the shovel, they can dig anywhere with soil. Digging 1,000 holes is as simple as digging everywhere, although time-consuming.
Still, players can find random items when digging anywhere. It is possible to obtain bones, food, meds, and other items just by using the shovel anywhere on the island.
Just take a habit of occasionally digging around your base or while exploring to work your way up to 1,000 holes.
