The “Tradesman” achievement requires players to build a structure with over 50 logs. While the achievement refers to “a structure”, building separate structures using 50 logs will count towards the achievement.
Players can acquire logs by cutting down trees themselves or asking Kelvin to cut trees and collect logs. One tree can produce four or more logs depending on its size.
Simply placing a log vertically or horizontally and locking it in place will count towards the achievement. As such, building a long wall is the simplest way to build structures with over 50 logs.
It is also important to note that the achievement counts logs across different saves, even across singleplayer and multiplayer.
